The Texas Suicide Prevention Council partners with Mental Health America of Texas (formerly Mental Health Association in Texas,) and the Texas Department of State Health Services to implement the Texas Youth Suicide Prevention Project, which is funded by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA).

Activities of the Texas Youth Suicide Prevention Project include:
